Same old same old

I hate doing politics so much lately but I was 1 of the many people pissed when a majority of Republicans won last November because I knew they had nothing to offer in terms of change or making anything better economically. I could go on & on, but Rachel Maddow makes the case perfectly.

Seriously, no one in office is actually doing anything that produces results. We can argue this that, or whatever, but nothing, NOT A THING is actually being done. Jobs is America's #1 concern, and no legislation is making changes to better this huge economic issue. So why do Americans continue to vote in people that do nothing? Well there is a #1 cable news channel spreading disinformation 24/7, simplifying complex stories into their own agenda to keep viewers angry, and fearful that their lives depend on watching in case disaster strikes any minute. Sometimes I think they want everything to collapses. They are swaying most of America to vote, and think in idiotic terms. Every time I watch Fox News I catch a distorted lie every 10 minutes. Most everyone I know on my Facebook has Fox News liked on their info page. I'm surrounded by people that are already filled with disinformation. Do I feel alone? Do I feel completely out of control, without a voice, or place of understanding? Do I feel powerless, rejected, and out of place in a world I don't fit into? YES!!!!

  1. I'm happy to let you lament on politics while I rest. ;)

I do love the Maddow though.

  2. I greatly respect the passion she puts into telling as much of the whole story as possible. Currently she is the only person passionate, and intelligent enough to tell the full story. I wish there were more reporters like her.

There are lots journalist but none as good at being so clear as her.

  3. i feel your pain, I am from WI and our governor(a complete idiot) decided that he was going to try to take away all collective bargaining rights from all state employees(except the police/firefighters as they supported his campaign). i mean teachers are overpaid anyway right? anyway he then goes on to say that he has the national guard ready to mobilize if there is "unrest" among the state employees; how insane is that? anyway i have two links that might interest you...one is about fox news' roger ailes, and the other is a poem i wrote about the elections...enjoy

  4. Thanks for the links, very interesting.

Most everyone I know will argue passionately based on what they saw on Fox News even if it makes no sense at all. Then when someone, anyone says something Fox News just denies it despite obvious proof.

Here's another video of Fox News (of many) flat out lying and still pulling viewers.
